On Thursday, July 1 another De Winton heritage event, the annual DCA Pancake Breakfast, will mark its 30th year of bringing together friends and neighbors to celebrate Canada Day.

Come and join 400 of us for a hearty breakfast that will include traditional flapjacks, sausage, ham, juice and coffee. Price is $6 for adults, $3 for children with kids under 6 free.

This years live entertainment will once again be Hurricane Smith. Children’s entertainment will include astro bouncers, face painting and the Farm Fun Petting Zoo from Animal Acres.

Want to help out? We can always use a hand setting up chairs, pourin’ juice, managing the bouncy castles and cleaning up. Contact Greg Davenport at info@dewintonca.com or show up around 8:00am on July 1st.

We are happy to announce the resumption of the DCA Western Dance! So dust off your cowboy hats, shine up your boots and get ready for a stomping good time at De Winton Hall on June 5th.

Tickets are available at the De Winton Community Hall by contacting Facility Manager Greg Davenport (403-938-2525), and are $25/person for Members, and $30/person for non-members.

Doors open at 6:30 pm with a buffet dinner at 7:30 pm. This years live band is Casino, who will be playing from 9 PM till 1 AM.

Hosts for the Western Dance, back by popular demand, are Kathy and Randy Evans.
