How much access do I get for my event date?

Day of Event 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM. Day prior to event available for decorating at 7PM (subject to availability). Day after event available for move-out 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Can we get married outdoors at De Winton Hall?

A well-lit, wrap around veranda and patio afford guests an opportunity to enjoy the country air and the panoramic view of the valley and the mountains. The lovely grounds provide an opportunity for an outdoor ceremony and photographs. A gazebo is available and is ideal to host outside wedding ceremonies and serves as a great centerpiece for wedding photos. Note; For an intimate service option St Andrew's United Church is just a few doors from the hall

Is there a commercial kitchen?

The Centre is equipped with a full commercial kitchen for all catering needs, as well as a full bar and refreshment centre for entertainment needs. We have a list of full service caterers who are familiar with our facility.

What comes with the main space rental?

The Hall rental also includes access to a sound system, full size video screen, stage for a band, DJ and/or head table and a podium for speeches. Decorative artificial fig trees are also included.

What if I don't need a bartender?

A supervisor/bartender is mandatory and will be in attendance at all events at the De Winton Centre to ensure that your event is worry free. If no alcohol will be served, the DCA bartender must still be onsite to act as the DCA Supervisor and is available to serve refreshments at the bar. A bartending/supervisor fee will still be charged

Do I need more than one bartender?

AGLC policy states the following: One bartender for every 80 persons. For our security, bartenders will be hired by the De Winton Community Association at a rate of $35.00 per hour. Bartenders are employed from one hour prior to the opening of the bar until such time as the building is closed and secured for the evening. They are responsible for closing and securing the facility after the event.
