About the Hall
De Winton Community Centre is a hidden jewel in the rural Calgary countryside. Located in the village of De Winton, just west of Highway 2a, The Centre is 5 minutes south of Calgary, and 10 minutes north of Okotoks. Rebuilt in 1997, this casual country facility has been serving the area for many years. It caters to a great variety of functions including community events, weddings, special events, business luncheons or banquets, and trade seminars.

Hall Features
The Main Hall
The main hall accommodates up to 196 for a seated dinner, and boasts a beautiful hardwood floor. The high vaulted ceiling provides a spacious feel to the room.
Fireside Seating Area
This conversation area, accented with country décor, features as its centerpiece a gas fireplace. It’s a great spot to get away from the music and enjoy an intimate conversation
Kitchen and Bar
The hall is equipped with a full commercial kitchen for all catering needs, as well as a full bar for entertainment needs.
Outdoor Grounds
A well lit, wrap around veranda provides guests an opportunity to enjoy the country air and the panoramic view of the valley and the mountains. A gazebo is available and is ideal to host outside wedding ceremonies and serves as a great centerpiece for wedding photos, while our playground offers entertainment for the little ones.

The main hall accommodates up to 180 for a seated dinner and boasts a beautiful hardwood floor. The high vaulted ceiling provides a spacious feel to the room. As well, the conversation area, accented with country décor, features as its centerpiece a gas fireplace.
The Hall rental also includes access to a sound system, full size video screen, stage for a band, DJ and/or head table and a podium for speeches. Decorative artificial fig trees are also included.
The Centre is equipped with a full commercial kitchen for all catering needs, as well as a full bar and refreshment centre for entertainment needs. We have a list of full service caterers who are familiar with our facility.
Day of Event 9:00 AM to 2:00 AM.
Day prior to event available for decorating at 7PM (subject to availability).
Day after event available for move-out 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM

Yes, you may use your own caterer. The Community Association provides a list of preferred caterers who are familiar with the kitchen and offer wonderful food, but ultimately the choice is up to you.
We hosted our wedding reception at De Winton and had a blast! The team and bartenders were so accommodating and helpful, the space is stunning, and the location is great. Highly recommend!
